Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods by Telnet.ie (“we”, “us”, “our”) to consumers in Ireland. By placing an order on this website you agree to be bound by these terms.

Company details

Telnet.ie is operated by [Legal Company Name], registered in Ireland under company number [CRO Number – to be confirmed], with registered address [Business Address – to be confirmed]. Contact us at [Contact Email – to be confirmed].

Products and pricing

All prices are shown in Euro (EUR) and, where applicable, VAT status is stated at checkout. We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions and prices are accurate, but errors may occasionally occur; we will contact you before processing an order affected by a pricing error.

Orders and contract formation

An order placed through this website is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example where stock is unavailable, in which case you will receive a full refund.

Delivery

We currently deliver to Ireland only, using the shipping methods and rates shown at checkout. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Your right to cancel (Irish and EU consumers)

Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us at [Contact Email]. You must return the goods within 14 days of cancelling, in original condition, at your own cost unless the goods are faulty or misdescribed. We will refund you, including standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return. See our Refund and Returns Policy for full detail.

Your right to cancel (UK consumers)

UK consumers have equivalent cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Faulty or damaged goods

If goods arrive faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 (or, for UK consumers, the Consumer Rights Act 2015). This is in addition to, and unaffected by, the 14-day cancellation right above.

Payment

Payment is taken securely at checkout. We do not store your full card details.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, our liability for losses you suffer is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant goods, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and Irish courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in a UK buyer’s own country.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force at the time you place an order will apply. Last updated: [Date].

Note

This page is a compliance starting draft. It should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor and updated with your final company registration details before the store goes live.
